Governor Carney on Thursday presented his Fiscal Year 2025 Recommended Budget sending the General Assembly a plan that will strengthen Delaware’s economy, invest in public schools, support Delaware’s families and workforce, and protect our environment.
The Office of Vital Statistics in Dover will be closed to the public for renovations beginning February 12 through April 5, 2024. During the closure period, Kent County residents will be able to request vital records in a variety of ways: orders for certified copies of vital records may be submitted by mail; through the two authorized online ordering systems.
DPH is reporting a potential measles exposure at the Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington on December 29, 2023. An extensive contact tracing investigation identified between 20-30 people exposed to the individual who was not symptomatic but was infectious at the time of their visit to the facility.
